Fulton, New York, in Oswego county, is 23 miles NW of Syracuse, New York and 127 miles E of Buffalo, New York. The people of the city are in the Syracuse metropolitan area. Fulton has a population of 11,855.

Fulton History

The present day City of Fulton was incorporated as a village in 1835. The west bank of the Oswego River was originally known as Oswego Falls, and was one of the early settlements of the original Town of Granby. The east side of the Oswego River was initially a part of the Township of Volney. The city was home to the first chocolate manufacturing facility in the country.
